Thomas (Tom) Wayne Zeigler of Blaine, Minn. was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Algona, the son of Earl and Dorothy (Brown) Zeigler. He grew up in Algona where he attended school, graduating from Algona High School in 1962. Following high school Tom attended Dunwoody Technical Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. earning a degree in auto body.

Due to extremely dangerous travel conditions between the Lakes region and our printer, the Kossuth County Advance will be delivered to residents on Friday of this week, one day later than normal. We encourage everyone to travel safely during this blizzard. The APC office is closed today, and we plan to be closed on Thursday as well as we are moving to a new location at 1308 Hwy 18 E. throughout the day. DON NETTLETON, ALGONA: Funeral services for Don Nettleton will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Algona, with Pastor Ben Dose officiating. A Visitation will take place at the Trinity Life Center from 4-6 p.m. on March 14. Inurnment will take place at East Lawn Cemetery with lunch following. Memorials in Don’s name may be sent to Algona Community School Foundation or the Stinson Prairie Arts Council.
