Sept. 5, 1940 - Sept. 12, 2021: Donald “Briggs” James Carroll, the son of Dennis and Wilhelmina “Billie” (Arndorfer) Carroll of Lu Verne, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at Good Samaritan Society in Algona. He was 81. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Lu Verne Township Cemetery. A celebration of life will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday at Lu Verne Community Center.
