North Union picked up its third victory of the 2016-2017 season with a 42-24 win over the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines in a non-conference match wrestled in Swea City on Thursday, Dec. 15.
The Warriors lost a 60-18 Top of Iowa Conference match to the Eagle Grove Eagles before losing a 43-42 non-conference match to the Manson Northwest Webster Cougars in a match that came down to the criteria of most first points scored to decide the winner of the dual.
West Bend-Mallard also was defeated by Manson Northwest Webster by the score of 46-18 before the purple-and-gold fell to Eagle Grove 63-12 in a pair of non-conference matches.
