UPDATED: Supervisors to oppose taking land for pipeline; county also looking into purchasing building in Algona

ALGONA—The Kossuth County supervisors plan to send correspondence to the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB), stating their opposing to the taking of land for construction of two carbon dioxide pipelines that are proposed to run through the county, and the county is also considering a purchase of a building in Algona for emergency management uses.
