ALGONA—The Kossuth Shrine Club hosted the chamber coffee at the Algona Welcome Center last Friday and Shriner Tom Nugent explained what the club is all about. Fellow Shrine members joined in with their own stories about what being a Shriner and helping children means to them.

Some guests at the event shared how the Shrine Club had helped their families and thanked them for all they do. This year the Shriners Hospitals for Children is celebrating 100 years.
