Connie Mechler of Algona attended the 129th annual convention of the Iowa State Chapter P.E.O. Sisterhood on June 4 in Des Moines. Mechler is a delegate from Chapter PC.

Carrie Wilkinson, Chapter OP, Cedar Rapids president, presided over the more than 400 delegates and visitors attending the event. Twenty-nine chapters from southwest Iowa served as the hostess group.
