Kossuth County Master Gardeners and their guests went on a trip to northeast Iowa on Thursday, July 20.

Tour stops included Seed Savers Exchange near Decorah and Plantpeddler in Cresco.

Among the topics the attendees learned about during the day tour included the importance of heirloom seed saving, plant diversity, evaluation trials and commercial greenhouse technology,
