Daniel Gelhaus was presented with the Congeniality Award during the Algona Area Chamber of Commerce coffee hosted by Oakcrest Funeral Home where he is employed.

Oakcrest Funeral Home just completed a major renovation that began last October and held a ribbon cutting to celebrate. Attendants were given tours and heard some history of the building built in 1919. The chamber coffee was followed by an open house until 2 p.m.
