The food lending boxes installed throughout the Algona Community the fall of 2024 have been very successful. They have been widely used throughout the winter months. It seems like it varies with the weather how often each box is used. We have found that some of the sites that the boxes are located, their “community”, has assisted filling these boxes which has been tremendous help in keeping the boxes successful.
