Creating hibernation stations

During a recent Homeschool STEM session for homeschool students at the Fenton Public Library, Lori Peterson, library director, said students learned about the way that animals migrate, hibernate or adapt to the environment when winter comes.

The kids studied the types of shelters and insulation used by hibernating animals and then used recycled materials to create their own hibernation stations that would keep wildlife warm and secure.
