DES MOINES—Bishop Garrigan dance team earned first place in Class 1 Pom, second place in Class 1 Kick, and all three of the soloists placed in the top 10 in the Class 1 Solo division at the Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association (ISDTA) State Dance Championships at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Dec. 1. The team was also awarded the Academic Achievement Award which is given to the top academic teams in the state. The BGHS team’s cumulative GPA is 3.91.
