Sept. 7, 1985 —June 18, 2017

Nathan Richard Wadsley, son of the late Richard Wadsley and Deborah (Torrence) Wadsley, was born on Sept. 7, 1985 in Sac City.
Nathan was a graduate of Schaller Crestland High School and continued his education at both NIACC and Iowa Lakes.
Nate worked many years in the Wind Tech Industry and most recently received CDL. He enjoyed driving truck and someday hoped to own his own.
Nate was joined in marriage to his wife Shannon (Larson) Wadlsey on April 6, 2013, in Wesley. The two were blessed with a daughter, Harper Lyn Wadsley, on June 25, 2014.
Nathan loved children. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, always giving them his full attention. He was definitely a kid at heart. The highlight of Nathan’s world was his daughter, Harper. He was protective over her and lovingly referred to as a “helicopter dad” they had a very close relationship. Nate and Harper had lots of fun playing together especially wrestling, driving her jeep and pretending to ride motorcycle.
Nathan loved spending time outdoors with family and friends. Many knew him as a social butterfly.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, fishing and was an avid sports fan.  Nate was a “toy trader” always looking for the next best bargain.   Nate loved to hunt with his dogs Oakley and Cloe.  He shared his love for dogs with his daughter, recently giving her a Bulldog, Bella.
Nathan took his last ride on Sunday, June 18, 2017. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for his mantra, “Get Wild.”
