Marie Livingston Bisque (nee Young), 83, passed away in Golden, Colorado on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, of natural causes.
Marie grew up on her family’s farm in Algona, Iowa and graduated from Burt High School. She earned her bachelor of science in Applied Art from Iowa State University where she met her husband, Dr. Ramon E. Bisque. After marrying in Algona, Iowa, Ramon and Marie re-located to Colorado in 1959. 
Revered for elegance and strength of character, Maria was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother with an unwavering faith. She enjoyed playing the piano, watercolor painting and poetry. 
Marie is survived by her six children, Camille (Edward) Ford, Stephen (Colleen) Bisque, Laura (Scott) Tracy, Thomas Bisque, Daniel (Brenda) Bisque, Matthew (Merrilee) Bisque; and sixteen grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Young, father and mother, Clifford and Elgena Young, and husband of sixty years, Dr. Ramon E. Bisque.
