The coronavirus (COVID-19) has closed the doors of the Algona Public Library to the public, but the library staff continues to find alternatives to provide books and other resources to its patrons.
“We try to make as many resources available as possible so we promote our online resources,” said Lori Walton, director of the Algona Public Library. “A program that we have offered the last two weeks is the curbside pickup. It has been going very well. We’ve had a number who have taken advantage of it.”
