KCGS publishes "A Telephone and a Typewriter"

ALGONA—The Kossuth County Genealogical Society (KCGS) has published a new book, and it is sure to be a hit with history buffs and those interested in local people.
A press release said the KCGS is “delighted to announce the publication of ‘A Telephone and a Typewriter.’ The book is a compilation of stories written by well-known news reporter and columnist Evelyn Cady. During her long career with the local newspapers, she wrote numerous feature articles documenting the history of our community and area residents, most accompanied by photographs which helped to tell the tales.”
