BANCROFT — Katie Kramer, 90, of Bancroft passed away on Dec. 4, 2016, at the Hawkeye Care Center in Bancroft.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Greenwood Township Cemetery in Bancroft.
Katie Christina Gigler, the daughter of Jacob and Martha (Bergman) Gigler, was born on April 7, 1926, in Titonka. On Aug. 21, 1945, Katie married Francis A. Kramer in Algona. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and sewing.
Left to cherish Katie’s memory is her children, Linda (Bob) Seal of Bean Station, Tenn. and Kenneth Kramer of St. Louis; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis in 1983; a daughter, Kay Keefer in 2011; and a sister, Gertrude Reefer.
