Morgan Castenson nailed her fifth three-pointer of the game with eight seconds remaining to make a 38-38 dead-lock and give the Southeast Valley Jaguars a 41-38 non-conference victory over the West Bend-Mallard Wolverine girls’ basketball squad.
The home played well in the first quarter as they led 9-6 at the end of the first eight minutes of action and held a narrow 20-19 advantage as the two squads headed to the locker-room for intermission.
In the third period, the Jaguars created some Wolverine turnovers that led to some easy baskets as Southeast Valley led 31-29 lead as the fourth quarter began.
