Jacqueline D. Hutchinson, 80, of Coralville, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her home. Per her request there will be no services.
Jacqueline was born on Aug. 27, 1936, to Marvin and Dorothy Landhuis Vander Waal in Hospers. She graduated from Algona High School in 1954 and later University of Northern Iowa in 1958.
Jacqueline married William Hutchinson on June 5, 1960, in Algona. She enjoyed reading, volunteering and traveling. She was also active in P.E.O as well as numerous other organizations and clubs in various communities.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Bradley; and sister, Cheryl Vander Waal.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill; parents; brother, Lee Vander Waal and nephew, Jeffrey Vander Waal.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Estherville Iowa Public Library in Estherville, Iowa and Lucky Pawz Dog Park in Iowa City.
