It's time to enjoy asparagus

I’m starting to think that Mother Nature has her holidays confused. The temperature seemed much warmer back on Easter than it did on Memorial Day. Brr!
The second Saturday of the Kossuth County Farmers Market was a lovely day, even if it did require a jacket. We were a little light on local produce, but as temperatures increase so will the variety of what items are available. In the meantime, several other local items are ready and available now, such as crafts, popcorn, baked goods, jam, jelly and more. Be sure to stop by and check out what our local vendors have to offer.
