Digging into Spring

Spring has officially made an appearance here in North Iowa, well, according to the calendar! We all know that spring in Iowa can mean a myriad of conditions. Many well-meaning folks have been tempted to jump into the garden on a pleasant day, only to be thwarted by freezing temps and an occasional snow squall the next. Even those with years of gardening experience can get a bit itchy to dig in.
