ALGONA — Funeral Mass for Richard “Dick” Boisjolie was celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Girres officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with military honors provided by V.F.W. Post #2541 and Hagg-Turner American Legion Post #90 of Algona.

ALGONA — Janet Scuffham, age 81 of Algona, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society in Algona. 
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at First United Methodist Church in Algona with Rev. Cynthia Finn officiating. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery in Algona.

ALGONA — Robert Earl Kiess was born on June 25, 1940, in Charles City, the son of Earl and Ruth (Mosher) Kiess. He graduated from Colwell High School in 1958. After high school, Robert attended Hamilton Business College where he studied office equipment, graduating in 1960. In August of 1963, Bob was drafted into the Army and was honorably discharged in August of 1965.

Edgar William Turner, age 83, died peacefully on Aug. 10, 2017, at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo, N.D., after complications of a fractured hip in June.

John William Boehm, 83, of Clear Lake passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. 
Memorial services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, on Aug. 12, 2017, with the Rev. Steve Bang officiating. The service started at 11 a.m., with refreshments following. Inurnment will be at the Good Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Titonka at a later date.

Mrs. Linda Lou Friedrich died peacefully at home on Aug. 9, 2017, in Vincent, at the age of 62.

Gloria Ann Rexroat Ulrick’s giant loving heart gave its last beat on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, from complications of heart failure.
Services will be 10 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel in Fort Dodge.
Gloria was born to Rufus and Marie (Carlson) Rexroat of Stratford, on Sept. 21, 1940. She attended the Stratford school systems and graduated from Stratford High School in 1958.

ALGONA — A Celebration of Life service for Max King, 91, of Algona was held Sunday at 6 p.m., at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Algona.  A picnic immediately followed.  Graveside service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m., at East Lawn Cemetery with military honors conducted.

ALGONA — Charlene Rossow, age 86, of Algona passed away on July 28, 2017 at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Algona, with Rev. Eric Hauan officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Algona.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

WHITTEMORE — A funeral mass was held for Mary Bonnstetter at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whittemore. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Whittemore. 
Mary died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the Emmetsburg Care Center, Emmetsburg. She was 103.
