Every year the AHS automotive teacher, Mr. Ricklefs, takes the seniors on an annual trip. The trip is designed to show what automotive careers are open for graduates after high school.

This year, 10 AHS seniors attended the trip. They toured John Deere in Des Moines. They also went to Ankeny to look at a car collection of a guy who collects and fixes cars.
