The third leg of the Kossuth County Historical Society motto, Enriching the Future, is an ongoing step forward. There are different areas of reference.
One might first think of the physical structures saved for future generations. As two of our buildings hold the enormous collection of artifacts, these properties are very important. Saving the McCarty Shoe Repair Shop from the chopping block, gave us a beautiful prairie front building holding our more primitive items plus a library preserving our paper articles.
