We are headed in to my favorite time of year. It’s different this year because just like everyone else, we are wondering what the last few months of 2020 will bring.
Things have been impacted at the Chamber – just like everyone else. We have made tough decisions on events, staffing and day-to-day operations. We have had to cancel events, and we have had to make a decision to move forward with events. One of those events is Taste of Algona, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26. This year, a band has been added to the schedule to immediately follow the tasting event, which goes from noon to 3 p.m. at 11 different locations. Each business hosts a winery/brewery/distillery for sampling great wine, beer and spirits. We have 200 tickets available, and each business will have some snacks to enjoy while you are sampling. This event is going on as planned.
