Lead Summary
Homecoming week always makes football coaches very nervous on how their squad will come out on Friday night. Bishop Garrigan coach Marty Wadle found out early and often that his team was up to the task as the black-and-gold rolled to a 52-0 shellacking of the St. Edmond Gaels.
The home team set the tone early in the game as they took the opening kickoff and went 64 yards in 12 plays as Eric Thul ran the final yard for the touchdown.
