A funeral Mass for Gordon “Pod” Carpenter, formerly of Bancroft, will be held today (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish - St. John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft. The funeral will be livestreamed on the Divine Mercy YouTube page. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Gordon Carpenter Memorial Fund which will be directed in his memory to Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in Iowa City.
