Golden Bears defeat West Hancock

BRITT—Bishop Garrigan outscored West Hancock 18-10 in the final eight minutes to rally for a 55-50 Top of Iowa Conference boys basketball victory over the Eagles on Friday, Jan. 8.
West Hancock led 12-11 at the conclusion of the first quarter before the black-and-gold rallied to hold a 31-24 advantage at intermission. The home team had a strong third period to take a 40-37 lead into the final frame where the Golden Bears rallied for the victory.
