LIVERMORE — Freda Cran, age 92, of Livermore passed away on Dec. 9, 2016, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona.  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Livermore with the Rev. Steve Struecker officiating. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Livermore. Visitation was Tuesday from 4-7 p.m., at Lentz Funeral Home in Livermore.  
Freda Dora Gronbach, the daughter of Herman Gottlieb and Dora (Rabe) Gronbach, was born on Sept. 3, 1924, in Livermore. She graduated from Livermore High School in 1941. On April 12, 1946, Freda married Richard Neal Cran at Immanuel Lutheran Church in LuVerne. 
Freda had worked in the kitchen at the Legion in Livermore, but she mostly stayed home and took great care of her family. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Livermore and a 25-year member of the Legion Auxiliary. Freda enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family was the most important thing for her.
Left to cherish Freda’s are her children, Kathy Cran of Livermore and Scott Cran and his wife Tara of Bode; six grandchildren, Lynn (Steve) Jackson, Gary (Lindsey) Cran Jr., Carly Cran, Melissa Hundertmark, Kelsi Cran and Kennedi Cran; and five great grandchildren, Alannah, Gary III, Cameron, Avry and Savannah.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Suzie Cran; a son, Gary Cran; two sisters, Mildred Brown and Helen Sinclair; and two brothers, Kelly and Harold Gronbach.
