An existing option to fund EMS?

When people pick up a phone and call 911 in a medical emergency, they expect an ambulance service or medical responder service to be available.
Residents of Kossuth County enjoy that assurance, but there is no guarantee such services will be there in the future, and in fact, there is real concern about future availability. Emergency medical services (EMS) are under tremendous pressure. Their expenses for equipment and training continue to rise. Their available volunteers and paid staff are dwindling. An aging population is more demanding of the assets, and there are fewer funds available.
