ALGONA — Community Development Director Jacob Tjaden is gathering downtown businesses together for a retail development meeting to build on the partnership that already exists, gather input on its strengths and weaknesses, and identify common goals.
“Part of my position and long term success of Algona is supporting, retaining, expanding existing businesses as well as attracting new businesses to either expand, relocate or open a new store here,” Tjaden said.
Tjaden wants to take some of the input given from the meeting and formalize it into a strategy.
