Christmas is not about giving – it’s about getting. I know that sounds weird, but the same thing occurs when you go on a mission trip. Let me explain.
Earlier this month, Dec. 3-12, I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip to the nation of Colombia in South America. Venezuelan refugees have been pouring over the “closed” border looking for a better life for themselves and their families. Over the past couple of years, 4.6 million Venezuelans have fled their country. They are leaving their country because they are starving.
