Christian Fisher, age 25 of Burt, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Burt Presbyterian Church in Burt. Burial took place at Burt Township Cemetery in Burt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Christian’s honor and left to the discretion of his family.
Christian Lee Fisher, the son of David Fisher and Ginger (Johnson) Marlow, was born on March 25, 1992 in Sheldon, Ia. He graduated from Algona High School in 2010. Christian completed two semesters through Kaplan University and was planning to attend Bible College at the River Bible Institute in Florida in January. He worked as a video editor out of his home. Christian was a skilled juggler, enjoyed shooting guns, fishing, playing video games, following Alex Jones political views and researching government conspiracies.
Christian is survived by his mother, Ginger Marlow (Chris Frink) of Burt; father, David (Annie) Fisher of Shady Shores, Texas; siblings, Ashley Marlow of Burt, Elijah Marlow of Burt, Abigail Marlow of Burt, Cullen Frink of Burt, Katelyn Fisher of Shady Shores, Texas and Paige Fisher of Shady Shores, Texas; grandparents, Janet and Larry Johnson of Burt, Diana Griffin of Tyler, Texas and Larry and Diana Fisher of Frisco, Texas and great grandmother, Marilyn Johnson of Burt.
