For at least the next eight weeks, Kemna Auto Center in Algona is conducting a pay-it-forward program to help businesses and individuals in Kossuth County during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The first $250 gift card was given on Wednesday, April 22, after a new vehicle purchase.
“The first one that we did yesterday, wow, if it is all like this, I don’t know if I can handle it. It was truly emotional,” said Tom Kemna, general manager of Kemna Auto Center. “I’m hoping these small gifts can help somebody through. My thought is, good things happen to people who do good things. Being the community leader, it is our job to step up and do things like this.”
