After dropping three matches last week, the Algona Bulldogs volleyball squad got back on the winning track with a North Central Conference victory over the St. Edmond Gaels in three straight sets.
In the opening game, the red-and-black started fast by racing out to an early advantage of 11-3 and never looked back in winning that set by the score of 25-16.
The second set was much closer early before with the home team leading 8-5, the Bulldogs rattled off nine straight points with Ashlin Young serving to build a 17-5 lead and went on to win by the count of 25-14.
