Evelyn Joelene Merkel
Jared and Marisa Merkel, Whittemore, are the proud parents of a baby girl, Evelyn Joelene, born Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Kossuth Regional Health Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Both parents work for the Algona Community School District.
Grandparents are Steve and Chris Reding, Cylinder, and Randy and Teresa Merkel, Jesup. Great-grandparents are Laurie Gunder, Whittemore; Bob and Pat Merkel, Jesup; and Wendell and Neva Erpelding, Jesup. Evelyn was welcomed home by siblings Bailey and Jace Merkel.
