Jason and Rachelle (Rieflin) Gruis of Buffalo Center are the proud parents of a baby girl, Leigha Kay, born Thursday, March 29 at Kossuth Regional Health Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21.4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Mike and Bronna Gubbels of Urbana, IA. Paternal grandparents are Don and Linda Gruis of Buffalo Center. Great-grandparent is Elaine Nerdig of Forest City. Jason is a farmer and Rachelle is a paraeducator. Welcoming baby Leigha home is older sister Lillian Krogmann.
