Bill Foth, age 87, of Algona, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at the Wellstead of Rogers Assisted Living in Rogers, Minn.  Mass of the Christian Burial was held Monday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona, with the Rev. Jeremy Wind celebrating.  Burial took place in Calvary Cemetery in Algona. 
William Henry Foth was born on Oct. 31, 1929, in Algona to Frank and Bianca Stebritz.  
He was adopted by John and Lillie (Blinkman) Foth.  Bill graduated from Algona High School in 1947.  
On Nov. 6, 1950, Bill was married to Mary Jane Studer at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley. Bill had worked as a “carpenter and cabinet maker” for builders Ray E. Johnson and SAW Construction.  He was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona.
He is survived by his children, Mary Lee Savona, Bill (Betsey) Foth, and Bob (Carrie) Foth; his grandchildren, Melanie (Todd) Curtis, John Foth, Adam (Rose) Foth, Rosa Foth, Rita Foth and Michael Savona; great grandchildren, Damian Foth, Ruby and Nash Curtis, and Colum and Cruze Foth.
Bill is preceded in death by his sweetheart, his wife, Mary Jane Foth; his parents; brothers, Frances, John, and Thomas Stebritz; and sisters Ann (Homer) Clark and Marie (Merwin) Diamond.
