ALGONA—It was a very eventful evening at Conway Field on Friday, Oct. 12 as the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears defeated West Fork 57-26. The victory gave the black-and-gold a piece of their fourth straight district title and head coach Marty Wadle the 200th win of his career.
The scoring began right away as the home team took the opening kickoff and went 66 yards in just four plays as Preston Kohlhaas dashed the final 53 yards. Brad Capesius ran in the successful conversion as the Golden Bears led 8-0 with just 1:22 gone in the contest.
