Funeral services for Amand Dangelser will be at 11 a.m., Oct. 23, 2021, at Burt Presbyterian Church in Burt with Pastor Kent Madison officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Amand P. Dangelser, formerly of rural Titonka, died on Oct.  14 at his home in Manson. He was born on Feb. 24, 1935, in Renwick, the son of Phillip and Ceceil (Packlet) Dangelser.
Amand graduated from Algona High School in 1954 before enlisting in the United States Army. After he was honorably discharged in 1960, he farmed near Sexton on the family farm. He later moved to Wesley and worked for Jack’s OK Tire service for many years. In 1980, he began farming near Titonka. After retirement, he moved to Fenton for a few years, before moving to Manson.
He married Dorla Coots in 1960 and to this union, two sons were born, Jeffrey and Adrian. Amand later married Judy Fitch in 1974 and another son, Brett, was born. 
Amand was a member of the Burt Presbyterian Church and the Fenton VFW. In his free time, Amand enjoyed woodcarving, photography, cards, bingo, hunting and fishing.
 He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Linda) Dangelser, Manson,  and Adrian Dangelser, Boone; his grandchildren, Amber Dangelser, Clinton Dangelser and Alex Dangelser; and his sister, Rose Kiley.
 Amand was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; son Brett Dangelser; his parents, Phillip and Ceceil Reece; his brothers, Philip (Rose) Dangelser and Nicholas Dangelser; and a brother-in-law, Larry Kiley.
