Algona's Knapp qualifies for state cross-country

Sophomore Moriah Knapp qualified for the Class 3A state girls’ cross-country meet with a top 15 finish on Wednesday, Oct. 21 in the regional meet held at the Spencer Municipal Golf Course to highlight the performances of the Algona Bulldogs squad.
Knapp crossed the finish line in 12th place overall with her season-best clocking of 20:14.23. The red-and-black sophomore will compete in the Class 3A state cross-country meet on Friday, Oct. 30 at 3:30 p.m. at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course just north of Fort Dodge.
