A conference championship by the shuttle hurdle relay highlighted the performances of the Algona Bulldog girls’ track squad in the North Central Conference track meet held on Monday, May 7 at Webster City.
The red-and-black finished in third place in the team race with 130 team points as Iowa Falls-Alden captured the conference title with 146 and Humboldt was the runner-up with a team total of 139 points.
Making up the gold medal winning shuttle hurdle relay was the quartet of Baylyn Johnson, Jaclyn Reding, Teylor Rindone and Abbey Holmes with a clocking of 1:09.00.
