a) Some countries, such as China, have been stealing our intellectual property, and won’t stop, so this is our only recourse.

b) American manufacturing jobs were devastated by free trade agreements, and the tariffs are leveling the playing field.

c) Trade wars always lead to loss – the results might wind up OK, but people never regain what they lost during the trade war.

d) People are just pawns to the administration in this trade war.

e) We should not do unilateral trade deals – we should be partners with other nations around the world in multi-lateral trade de

f) The U.S. always gets the short end of the stick on these free trade deals – we wind up paying tariffs, but other countries do

g) It’s wrong to use agriculture in trade wars because it’s our role to feed the world.
