Beverly Alice Huff was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Britt, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Alice (Smidt) Dallman. She grew up near Hutchins and later graduated from the Britt High School in 1952.

Because of concerns regarding the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the visitation, Mass and burial were private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to either Givens Brain Tumor Center or Saint Vincent de Paul Blessings Fund.

Ann Arndorfer, age 54, of Burt, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, at Exceptional Opportunities in Burt. Private family funeral services were held Friday, March 20. Burial was in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.
Dolores Margret Franzen was born Jan. 18, 1931, in rural Burt, daughter of Stanley and Harriet (Schrader) Black. She was baptized and confirmed at the Burt United Methodist Church.
Patricia “Pat” A. Hendricks, age 71, of Algona, passed away March 8, 2020, at the Algona Manor in Algona.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Friday, March 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Algona. Memorial services are 11 a.m., Saturday, March 14, at the church with the Rev. Cynthia Finn officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at the Algona VFW.
A funeral service for Janice Wirtjes will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 13, at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church, Ledyard. Visitation is 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 12, at the church.
Janice Margret Rose Ziegler was born into the family of Leander and Anetta Ziegler on July 13, 1936. She was one of nine children born to her parents. Janice graduated from Winnebago High School in 1956.
A funeral service for Carol Thompson will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 14, at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church, Ledyard, with the Rev. Colin Andrade officiating. Burial is in Highland Home Cemetery in Ledyard. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Bethany E&R Church in Ledyard and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Billee Gadient, 92 of Algona, passed away March 5, 2020, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arden Leroy Kramersmeier, 78, of Ledyard, Iowa, passed away Feb. 27, 2020, while on vacation in Mesa, Ariz., due to complications from pneumonia.
Ardie was born Jan. 19, 1942, to Alfred and Hulda (Clausen) Kramersmeier. He lived his entire life on the family farm outside of Ledyard where he raised some livestock and grew grain. After graduating from high school, Ardie enlisted in the Army. His enlistment ended early due to a parachute accident which left him partially disabled.
Rita Mary (Gaulke) Kosidowski died on Monday, February 24, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society in Algona. She was 81. Memorial services were held at noon Saturday, March 7, at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Algona. Visitation was on Saturday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Inurnment was in Calvary Cemetery.
Funeral services for Mary Jean Carlson were held Monday, March 2, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Whittemore with the Rev. Mark Resner presiding. Burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Mary Jean Carlson was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Algona, the daughter of Donald and Edna (Nordstrom) Teeter. She grew up in Algona and attended the Algona High School.
Funeral Services for Joe Johnson were held at First United Methodist Church in Swea City Wednesday, Feb.19, with the Revs. Cody Villarreal and Joel DeNeui officiating. Burial was in Harrison Township Cemetery in rural Swea City. Henry Olson Funeral Home of Swea City assisted the family.
Surrounded by his family, Joseph Robert Johnson passed away at Main Street Manor in Swea City on Feb. 15, 2020, at the age of 88.
LaDonna Jane (Glieden) Reibsamen of Algona, formerly of Corwith, left this world on Feb. 25, 2020, after making quite an imprint during her 87 years of life.
A memorial Mass was held Friday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Britt with Father Jim Dubert officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church.
