A funeral service for Arnold Schutter will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Titonka. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, at Oakcrest Funeral Services, Titonka. Interment will be in Good Hope Lutheran Cemetery with Military Honors conducted. Masks are required for both visitation and funeral services, and social distancing practices will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Hope Lutheran Church.

Thelma Brower, 95 of Urbandale, died Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Calvin Community in Des Moines. A private family graveside service was held at Lindenwood Cemetery near Geneva, Iowa. A public celebration of Thelma’s life will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church at a later date.

Rollo Elton Moore was born in Titonka, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Eunice (Phelps) Moore. Even though he lost both of his parents at a very young age (his dad when he was 2 years old and his mom when he was 7 years old) he grew up to become a successful farmer and businessman.

Olive A. Richardson, 87 of Swea City, died Saturday, June 20, 2020. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany E&R Church in Ledyard with inurnment following at Highland Home Cemetery in Ledyard. Her family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Social distancing practices will be followed.

A private family funeral Mass for Red Lane will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 27, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whittemore, with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The services will be livestreamed on Oakcrest Funeral Services’ Facebook page.

Funeral services for Betty Pompe, 94, formerly of Whittemore, will be Monday, June 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Lotts Creek Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Lone Rock, with the Rev. Duane Meisner, pastor, officiating. Interment immediately follows in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Due to current restrictions, the service will be private with immediate family members only. The family plans a Celebration of Life once restrictions are lifted.

Betty Wilcox, age 86 of Algona, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, June 15, 2020, surrounded by her loving husband and children. Betty’s funeral was by invitation only due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

A funeral Mass for Maureen Lentsch was held Tuesday, June 9, at St. Cecelia Catholic Church with Father Sunny Dominic and the Rev. William Black officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Algona.

Harold Duane Warner was born in Fenton, Iowa, on Sept. 30, 1923, to Asa and Lena (Nemmers) Warner. He was called home to Jesus on June 2, 2020, at the Stonebridge Suites in Bancroft, Iowa.

Richard Kent, age 60 of Algona, passed away on Dec. 1, 2019, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at Call State Park on Saturday, June 13, from 12 until 3 p.m. Please bring photos and memories to share.
