Anita A. Theisen, daughter of Arthur and Marie (Seegebarth) Luedtke was born on March 28, 1929, in rural Lotts Creek. Anita was baptized on April 28, 1929, and confirmed on April 18, 1943, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lotts Creek. Anita passed away on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, at Accura Healthcare of Bancroft at the age of 91 years. 
Private family services were held. A celebration of Anita’s life will be held at a later date.

Funeral services for Leroy Ennen were Jan. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Bancroft with Pastor Donne Steven officiating. Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery at Lakota with military honors provided by the American Legion Kerr-Hammerstrom Post #577 of Lone Rock.

Funeral services for Irene Buscherfeld were held on Jan. 6 at 11:30 a.m. at Oakcrest Funeral Services with the Rev. Don McGuire presiding. Burial was at the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Whittemore.

June McMahon Baker was born Dec. 11, 1918, in Wesley Township, Wesley, to L.A. and Ellen (Pink) Boleneus. She went to beauty school in Fort Dodge in 1938 and came back to Algona in 1940 and opened the State Beauty Salon. June married Ray McMahon in March of 1942. He passed away in 1953.

Funeral services for Sullivan McGuire were held at 10 a.m. Dec. 31 at First English Lutheran Church, Spencer, with Pastor Paul Kaldahl officiating. Interment was at Riverview Cemetery in Algona.

Ezra LuCean Fangman, precious baby girl of Dylan and Emma Fangman of Winthrop was born into the arms of angels on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at Regional Medical Center, Manchester. 
Ezra touched the lives of so many and will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who longed to know her. Our sweet baby girl will never be forgotten.

Funeral services for Leroy Ennen are Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at 10:30 A.M. at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Bancroft with Pastor Donne Steven officiating. Leroy died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at his home in Lone Rock, Iowa. He was 89. Arrangements were handled by Oakcrest Funeral Services.

Bunny (Lillian) Hauswirth, age 100 of Corwith, peacefully passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center, Algona, with family by her side. A small private family memorial service was held at Oakcrest Funeral home followed by a graveside service at the Corwith Cemetery.

A private family funeral Mass for Rosemary Dudding was held Dec. 29 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft. Burial was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Bancroft. 
Rosemary Kemna Dudding passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at her residence in New Hampton. She was in her 95th year. She was known most of her life as Rosie, and for almost 40 years as Grandma Rose.

William “Bill” Berte, age 58  of Algona, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Private family Mass of the Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona and was live-streamed on the Five Saints Catholic Community YouTube page: ww.youtube.com/user/stceceliaalgona. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Paul Hanselman, age 76 of Lu Verne, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Jan. 9 at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona. Masks will be required, and social distancing practices will be followed.

Vicki Kinseth was born in Fort Dodge on July 8, 1953,  the daughter of D. James and Marilyn (Nessa) Lempke. She married Craig Kinseth on Aug. 27, 1972, in Livermore.
