June Hauser, age 94 of Des Moines, formerly of Algona, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at Unity Point-Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life visitation was held on Aug. 16, at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona from 4-7 p.m. Private family graveside services were held. Robert Andrew Daniels was born on the south side of Chicago on March 19, 1933, the only child to John Harrison Daniels and Greta Christy Daniels. He passed away on February 2, 2021 in his own home with his family around him. Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Algona.

Martha Genevieve Mitsven was born in Bode, Iowa, on Feb. 25, 1929, the seventh of 11 children to Herman and Laura (Gravlund) Mitsven. She grew up in Bode and graduated from Bode High School in 1947.

A celebration of life for Elizabeth “Betsy” Rahe was held with visitation at the North Iowa Golf Club in Bancroft from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11.
Mass of Christian burial was at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 12, with Father Matthew Solyntjes officiating.

Funeral Mass for Mary Jane Lickteig will be celebrated on Aug. 13, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at the church. 
Mary Jane Lickteig was born Feb. 18, 1936, to Ambrose and Rose (McMahon) Lickteig on a farm near Lu Verne, in a home delivery by her father during a raging blizzard.

Harlan Sonksen, age 89, of Mallard passed away on Aug. 6, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were held on Aug. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mallard. Burial took place at Rush Lake Cemetery in Curlew. Visitation was Monday, 5-7 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mallard. Harris-Lentz Funeral Home of Mallard assisted the family.
