Wanda Burdick, 65, formerly of Wesley, passed away at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6, at Real Time Fellowship in Brookfield, Mo., with the Rev. Tim Kohls officiating.
Wanda was born on April 6, 1952, to Mack and Lula (Fugate) Messer. She married Jeff Burdick, Sr., on June 25, 1971, in Hastings, Mich.
Wanda loved Jesus, teaching, Grandma’s camp, writing, burning food, blue birds and being available 24/7. She was often heard quoting “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice!” Philippians 4:4
Wanda is survived by her husband, Jeff, son, Jeff. Jr. and Kristy (Linneus, Mo.) and children, Jeff, Jared, Kaitlyn and Jordan; daughter, Jennifer and Mark Loveless (Rockford, Mich.) and children, Olivia, Abigail and husband, Gunn Wilson (Moscow, Idaho), Elaina and Ivana; brothers Gobel Messer, Ishmael Messer and Barb, Bristol Messer, Walt Messer; sisters, Eda (Messer) Evans, Weda (Messer) and Pete Montague, Gail (Messer) and Bill Rantz; eight grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her stepmother, Cynthia Messer, brothers Estill Messer and wife, Joan, Omar Messer and wife, Carol and Roger Messer; and sister, Veda and husband, Ken Butler.
