Marjorie Davis, 75, of O’Fallon, Mo., formerly of Algona, and wife of the late Jack Davis, passed away March 14, 2020, at National Health Care in St. Charles, Mo.
She was born May 13, 1944 in rural Algona to Orville and Irene Holdren. Marjorie attended Algona High School and worked at several businesses in Algona before working at the Algona Police Department in 1974 as the city’s first meter maid and occasionally as a radio dispatcher and jail matron.
