Lawrence “Larry” Herbers, age 71 of Emmetsburg, passed away on Feb. 9 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Mass of the Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 13 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Emmetsburg. Military rites were conducted at the church by the Ayrshire American Legion and the Emmetsburg VFW. Burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
