Jenna Lee Vinsand, the daughter of Ronny and Rhonda (Boekelman) Vinsand, was born Oct. 12, 1987, in Humboldt, Iowa. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 2006. Jenna worked as a bookkeeper for Custom Made Products in Humboldt.
Jenna was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Her faith was extremely important to her, and she enjoyed many years at Wesley Woods Camp, where she later became a counselor. Jenna never met a stranger and could carry on conversations for hours. Her conversations were never left without an “I Love You.” She took great pride in her family and loved her nieces and nephews. Jenna did her best to attend every activity her nieces and nephews were involved in. She loved to spend time on the Harley with her boyfriend Scott. Their dog Opie was the light of her life. In Jenna’s free time, you could find her at the dirt tracks cheering on her favorite people racing or cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Iowa State Cyclones.
Left to cherish Jenna’s memory are her mother, Rhonda of Dakota City; siblings, Amy (Chris) Schommer of Minnesota City, Minn., Jason (Tammy) of Sweeny, Texas, and Andrea (Rob) Hinton of Humboldt; 16 nieces and nephews; boyfriend, Scott Christianson of Corwith; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronny, in 2011 and her grandparents.
